Our Akaushi/Wagyu Merlot steak combines the naturally rich beef flavor of this unique cut with the exceptional marbling and tenderness Wagyu is known for.
The Merlot steak is leaner than many premium steaks but remains surprisingly tender when cooked correctly. It has a deep, beefy flavor that makes it perfect for grilling, pan-searing, or slicing thin for steak salads, sandwiches, or fajitas.

Best Cooking Method
Cook over high heat to medium-rare (130–135°F) or medium (140–145°F). Avoid overcooking to preserve its tenderness. Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

We have three options available:
- At checkout you can choose three pickup locations: Two locations in Richland and one at the farm in Saluda. We will set up a time once order is placed.
- At checkout choose standard mail delivery. We are still trying to get shipping cost down.
- At checkout chose local delivery. We will hand deliver it to you. Again we will contact you about best times. There is no fee when an order is over x amount it's set up on a sliding scale. Farther away you are the more the minimum purchase is for free delivery but no matter the purchase amount we will deliver. Small purchases will have a fee.
