Easy Garlic-Herb Sirloin Steak Recipe

Ingredients:

1 H+J Hereford Boneless Sirloin Steak
Salt & cracked black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, smashed
1 tbsp butter
Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs

Instructions:

Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temp for 20–30 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side until deeply browned.
Add butter, garlic, and herbs to the pan. Tilt and spoon the melted butter over the steak for 1–2 minutes (basting).
Rest steak on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Serve with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or slice it up for a killer steak salad.

We have three options available:

At checkout you can choose three pickup locations: Two locations in Richland and one at the farm in Saluda. We will set up a time once order is placed.
At checkout choose standard mail delivery. We are still trying to get shipping cost down.
At checkout chose local delivery. We will hand deliver it to you. Again we will contact you about best times. There is no fee when an order is over x amount it's set up on a sliding scale. Farther away you are the more the minimum purchase is for free delivery but no matter the purchase amount we will deliver. Small purchases will have a fee.
