Prevention relies on proper husbandry practices, including maintaining correct and stable brooder temperatures, providing balanced starter feed and constant access to clean water, and minimizing stress. Keeping the brooder clean and dry and monitoring chicks daily for early signs of buildup are essential to prevent complications.

Shipping & Delivery FAQ

We have three options available:

  1. At checkout you can choose three pickup locations: Two locations in Richland and one at the farm in Saluda. We will set up a time once order is placed.
  2. At checkout choose standard mail delivery. We are still trying to get shipping cost down.
  3. At checkout chose local delivery. We will hand deliver it to you. Again we will contact you about best times. There is no fee when an order is over x amount it's set up on a sliding scale. Farther away you are the more the minimum purchase is for free delivery but no matter the purchase amount we will deliver. Small purchases will have a fee.
